What comes out...
Doesn't it make sense that what you put in is what will come out? Though this isn't the most "proper" subject in health care we need to pay more attention to our bowel movements as an indicator of our health. For those that have pets you ALWAYS know when they are not well because of what they leave around the house, yet many people have the same bowel movements as a sickly animal and pay little attention. Here are some guidelines:
1. You should have at least one bowel movement daily (animals do).
2. Evacuation should be a quick process. More than 5 minutes in the bathroom is too long (again look at animals).
3. Your "droppings" should be solid (little "clean-up" should be required).
4. You SHOULD NOT be able to identify Thursday's lunch!
5. Odor should be minimal, this includes gas.
If you have any of these problems or others, here's a few simple starter solutions.
1. NO DAIRY! Give a dog a hunk of cheese and watch what happens. Dairy is the #1 culprit in practically every digestive disorder we know of.
2. Eat the right foods: Lots of fresh fruits and vegetables and no refined or packaged junk.
3. Take Probiotics and Digestive Enzymes to aid digestion (Juice Plus takes care of #2 & #3).
4. Reduce meat consumption: Increased sulfur intake increases odor.
5. No Pork, Shellfish, or Bottom Feeders (catfish, eel, etc): Science now backs what the Bible has taught us thousands of years. All of these eat feces and other junk, therefore carry greater amounts of disease, worms, and toxins.
6. Still have problems! Talk to me or another Natural Physician to exhaust other options before medicating.
