Shopping Mobile
I thought it might be handy to share some of the best places to shop in Mobile to find the things you need, and those to keep you healthy. In other words, this is where I shop:
The Fresh Market on Airport: Get all of your meats here. Though most of the other things they carry are expensive, their meats and seafood are good quality (but not perfect). They have a very wide variety.
My personal favorite: Ground Sirloin $3.99/lb
Target on Schillinger: Great products, variety, and prices. They carry many organic products including organic produce. You have to know what to look for as it's spread throughout the store but you can buy almost all your groceries in organic varieties.
My personal favorites: California Style Flax Bread, Organic Alfalfa Sprouts, Edensoy Organic
Other Health Products: Though you can get some great products like Organic Tahini and Raw Organic Honey from stores like the Health Hut, they are way overpriced. Two of my favorite websites I order products from are www.tropicaltraditions.com, and www.lifesvigor.com. In most cases I find you can buy the same products, with shipping, and still save money!
