The "Down Low" on H2O...

I'm not going to bother going through all the MILLIONS of benefits of drinking water. The bottom line aside from the fact that your body is made up of a lot of empty space (but we won't go into quantum physics today), your tangible body is composed mainly of water. So let's just agree to the obvious that it's important.

We'll keep this simple. The main concern besides all the sugar, artificial sweeteners, and who knows what else goes into it is a clear reason NOT to drink soda, sports drinks, and all the other non-water beverage choices. So when you look at water here's what you need to know. First and foremost DON'T drink from the tap! You would be shocked to know what's in there. Besides the common knowledge dangerous chemicals like chlorine and fluoride, municipal water supplies often contain a plethora of drug residues (ex: Prozac), pesticide and herbicide residues, industrial byproducts, bacteria, and others. Want to know for sure...test it. Besides the nasty contents most tap water is acidic. PH is incredibly important for a host of reasons, but to keep it simple you want the pH of your water to be between 7 and 8. My favorite bottled waters are Fiji (7.5) and Evian (7.18). Of course bottled water gets expensive, especially when you're buying Dasani, Aquafina, and most of the other name brands which are no more than filtered tap water. So a better option would be to buy a good water purifier. I personally use a Crystal Quest filter as you can read about HERE. The bottom line, drink to your health...not your taste. If you do so you will find there is NOTHING more refreshing than a cool glass of clean, pure water!

PARADIGM SHIFT...
Every time you "bend" and give your kid a soda, diet soda, or sugar drink...

  • You give them osteoporosis
  • You give them rotten teeth
  • You give them heart disease
  • You give them diabetes
  • You give them "ADHD" (sugar high)
  • You give them cancer
  • You give them early death
Argue that one...
