Paradigm Shift...

This last week I had an experience that inspired me and affirmed the absolute power of truth. For months now we have been planting seeds in our sitter in regards to health and how much they are missing. This family, though this country's standards would presume are "healthy", suffer the same frequent illness that migrates it's way through each family member, and they have a son with scoliosis (non-symptomatic). We have tried desperately to get them to realize their futures given the current path but with little success.
When we went to pick up Jalen one day last week, we somehow got into a conversation about health, and drugs, and the FDA. A relatively "small" detail, which would have been overlooked by most, was a point in time during the conversation when one of the parents said "yeah, we've noticed that where everyone else gets sick and is out for a week, Jalen might get a sniffle but never slows down and is better in a day or two", at which the other parent nodded in agreement.
At that moment, whether they knew it or not this family made a mark in the road where a level of curiosity, which leads to understanding, will mark a new future of positive health choices. I have no doubt in my mind that it is only a matter of time now before they stop "walking through life dragging their bodies behind them", and instead become present-time conscious in their daily choices.
The point of this is you may get frustrated like I was when someone you try to help just doesn't get it. But in the end, when we live by example, the truth is inevitable and it shows in every area of your life. You need to understand that living a good life for yourself is not a selfish act, but will save lives in the process. Live well.

The Game...

Living a healthy life is no different than playing a game. As a kid, you remember going outside and "playing" a sport after seeing it on TV. Though you may be using the right ball but without learning the rules and techniques through training and coaching you will likely not get to the top or have a long lived "career".
Rules: There are rules to the game that when not followed will result in penalties and/or injuries.
Techniques: You can only improve upon your skills by improving your techniques. These are the activities that result in a higher level of achievement.
Natural Talent: This cannot be replaced by external means. Either you have it or you don't. 98% of people have the inborn ability to obtain remarkable health, but it has to be developed through practice.
COACHING: How many athletes made it to the top without a coach. The answer is none. You need someone who is better at it than you to learn from.
Anyone can play the game, but if you want to win you need to work at it. Like most things, you can't do it on your own because there is so much information out there you are likely to miss the right stuff without help. The more eyes and ears you have on the field the more potential you have of becoming an All-Star. I have my coaches, do you?

Let Freedom Ring...

We should wake up every morning thanking God for the country we live in. A place where you have the OPPORTUNIY to make change by sounding your voice. More importantly a place where strength in numbers cannot be undermined or ignored.
FREEDOM on the other hand is something we must strive to reattain.
Is freedom...
* having your children forced to get dangerous vaccinations in order to get an education?
* being arrested at the command of your doctor for refusing treatment no matter how unreasonable?
* a place where children are locked in bondage of medication early under the guise of fictitious diseases?
* a place where saving money on drugs is blocked to protect profits under the notion of terrorists tainting the drug supply from Canada?
* a place where the FDA claims to take away your right to protect yourself in a court of law if injured by medication?
* a place where the highly educated are silenced from teaching that is not in line with the medical establishment?
* a place where anything having to do with God is systematically removed from buildings, TV's, and airwaves?
There's much talk about our soldiers dieing in vain for the sake of another nation. What about those that have died for our freedom? It's time we raise a collective voice if we want our freedom back.
God Bless America and United we Stand.
