Ending Addiction...

Today I'm going to share with you the secret to ending addiction. The reason why you can't stop that addiction no matter what drug you take, what patch you wear, or what gum you chew is unraveled in this basic and simple concept.

Anthony Robbins, I believe one of the smartest men alive today often speaks about the concept of Pain and Pleasure. Essentially, you have only two motivations in life:
  1. The Avoidance of Pain
  2. The Gaining of Pleasure
True to the order I have them listed, the priority is avoiding pain. But, if you do not associate pain you will only choose to do something if it gains pleasure. Try applying this to your life and daily activities. Why do some exercise and some don't? Why do some smoke and others do not?

So how do you put this into action? Well until you can associate MORE PAIN to the activity you want to break than the PLEASURE you gain from it, you will never break it no matter how hard you try. On the same note, if you can associate greater PAIN you will have no problem breaking the addiction.

This concept has probably been seen in action in somebody you know (maybe even yourself?). With this simple concept you now have the power to control any action at will. Soon I will show you some additional tools to make getting the things you want extremely "simple".

Your Best Sleep Ever...

Sleep...if you're like me it's hard to come by, while rest is like a word out of fairy tales. Though it seems more difficult than ever to enjoy and get enough of, there are certain steps you can take to put you into REM's like you've never experienced before. So get ready to wake up feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, ready to take on the new day ahead which you have been blessed with.

First of all, sleep is a time dependent practice. So even if you've convinced yourself that you only need 4 hours a night, your body knows it's not getting what it needs. Your brain and nervous system needs this time to reorganize and initiate the repair process within your body. If you cut this short it's like sending an airplane up full of passengers without completing the maintenance checks. Your body, like everyone else's, needs at least 6 (8 is best) hours each and every night. It's important to note as well that "making up" sleep doesn't work, you need it every single night to be effective long term.

To improve the quality of this sleep here's a few more tips.
  • BLACK OUT your room. There should be zero light in the room to ensure proper melatonin production.
  • Make sure the air quality in your room is superb to ensure good oxygenation throughout the night. See the Air Oasis purifiers. Ventilation is important as well.
  • Make sure you eat NO simple carbs after lunch. These extra sugars will be in your system still during sleep making it more difficult to get to sleep, and even harder getting up the next morning.
  • Wind down before sleep with a quick exercise, prayer, or chat with a friend or spouse.
  • If you need extra help, Valerian root or Kava Kava tea work well (consult a physician before using if you're on anti-depressants).
  • Use a gentle wake alarm. The morning jolt is not good from a neurological standpoint.
A great bed is very important as well. I sleep on a Body Responsive mattress and would not trade it for anything. This memory foam mattress is completely enclosed in a zippered pillowtop for a little extra support while maintaining that featherweight feel. My grandfather who suffers with bone cancer and emphysema tried multiple other mattresses before making the switch and now wakes up with little or no pain. If you would like information, maybe for a Christmas gift for yourself, just contact me and we'll get it to you right away.

Beating the Flu Season...

So what sounds like the best (most logical) way to beat the flu?
A. Use an injection of man-made vaccine breaking and bypassing the god-made natural barrier of defense (skin)?
B. Let the flu take hold, then use a homemade mixture of cough syrups, antibiotics (worthless against virus), and other man-made drugs and toxic substances to "shock" your system into working?
C. Boost your natural god-made immune system using god-made foods & herbs, non-invasive immune restoration therapies, and letting your body go through it's natural defense mechanisms (such as fever, vomiting, & diarrhea so long as they are not in themselves a threat to homeostasis)?

If that was a hard question then pay close attention and then do your own research. Since Louis Pasteur identified that some agents could be used to make vaccines, "Big Pharma" has jumped all over it making vaccines for everything under the sun, even predominantly harmless viruses such as chicken pox, generating billions of dollars in revenue and supported by mandatory (& enforced) vaccination programs. Then, when the vaccine doesn't work, or actually MAKES YOU SICK, you turn to the "medicine cabinet" and start self subscribing a different drug for every symptom neglecting the probability of counter-reactions.

Your body knows how to beat the bug better than you do and simply needs the building blocks. Here's a short list of medicinal foods well known to fight viral infection and boost immune function: Garlic, Onions, Ginger, Shitake Mushrooms, Blueberries, Raspberries, Apples, and oh yeah...every other fruit and vegetable that God put on this earth. That's right, these God-made foods add tremendous power to your body. If you eat as much of these as possible BEFORE you get sick in the first place you reduce your risk exponentially.

If you catch it too late, I recommend a product called A-V Tincture by Jenny Lee Naturals. It's a very powerful herbal tincture of the some of the most well known and studied anti-viral herbs. Chiropractic adjustments, massage, lymphatic drainage, and many other natural health practices have been shown to significantly boost immune function as well. Remember as well to get some natural sunlight, fresh air, light activity, and restful sleep to support your bodies effort.

No Sense, Toxic Scents...

Most do not know that there is poison floating around the air in their homes. Your children are breathing this poison in and out as they sleep through the night. It builds up in your furniture and carpet only to be whisked back into the air, and mixed with all the other chemicals you use to "clean". What is it?

Those lovely fragrances that you plug into the wall, sit on your counter, and spray into the air are the very same substances that are poisoning you. Don't believe me? Read the labels and on almost every one you will see a warning something like; "harmful or fatal if swallowed, contact a physician IMMEDIATELY if this occurs" as well as additional warnings like "keep out of reach of children". But hey, it's alright to spray it over their little heads as they sit watching their favorite cartoon. Do you really think that something which is deadly if swallowed is perfectly safe when inhaled? Where has logic gone in this country!

The average household today has more chemicals than a chemistry LAB 100 years ago. I have trouble understanding how manufacturers can be so unconscious and so under-regulated. If you see warnings on the back of ANYTHING in your home it should not be there, especially if you have children. You can no longer trust others for your protection. There are plenty of other natural and safe resources out there, many of which I have listed on the website. You spend a great deal of time in your home, make it safe!
