The Next Great Depression Is Coming, And How You Can Protect Yourself.

The pieces of this came together after reading multiple reports about the rise in health care cost and current events. As you all know, the Baby Boomers are getting ready to hit retirement. Talk is everywhere about Social Security and how this system will not hold up, but this is only one small piece of the larger scope. I’m going to lay out the chain reaction of what I believe (and others smarter than me agree upon) is very soon to come and how you can protect yourself.
  • By 2010, 13% of the population will be retired, with 6,000 more people added each day. Yet one of the most startling statistics is that 61% of households leaving the workforce will be unable to replace 75% of their income in retirement (Cerulli Associates).
  • Social Security and Medicare will quickly become overrun and forced to either decrease coverage to seniors or face complete system failure.
  • Taxes will rise in an attempt to save these systems, thereby straining the working class into a wave of financial hardship.
  • The working class, due to the unbearable cost of health insurance, will begin to shift towards Health Savings Accounts thereby leading to a much more conscious mentality of their health spending.
  • Due to the already astronomical cost of standard Medical healthcare, insufficient senior coverage, and increasing life expectancies, seniors will not be able to afford care thereby significantly decreasing utilization even further.
  • Due to the increasing litigation such as the recent Vioxx settlement ($253 Million), Medical Doctors will need to further hike fees to cover rising malpractice costs and maintain their elaborate lifestyles. (Our government sees this coming and is already trying to push for "tort reform" so YOU cannot protect yourself from a Doctor that makes a mistake).
  • Retirees will be increasingly unable to afford healthcare and will be forced to sell off assets (housing) to cover their costs.
  • This will cause a sharp influx of real estate into the market causing housing prices to fall dramatically.
  • Alternative healthcare will be the new focus for most as the cost-effectiveness is finally realized on a large scale, sending Wellness based practices souring as the dominant force in patient healthcare. (Chiropractic is the only field sturdily positioned to take the role of primary healthcare!)
  • Enrollment in Medical schools will fall off dramatically as students get cautious and major universitiesdependentt on these programs will be forced to either open into safer, more cost-effective alternative healthcare or close their doors.
  • As the market for "traditional" medical care plummets large pharmaceutical companies, insurance companies, and medical establishments will dive into bankruptcy sending the stock market, which is highly reliant on these sectors, into a major crash resulting in its worst state since the Great Depression.
In a nutshell, you can see how our failing and corrupt Medical system is poised to single handedly bankrupt every facet of our economy possibly within the next 20 years. But there is good news. Just like the last Great Depression, those that are prepared can come out on top.
  • Do not go forextravagantt real estate and lifestyles right now. You can already see signs that these things are happening. Rather begin putting as much away in secure accounts as possible.
  • Shift stock out of pharmaceuticals, where you put it is up to you.
  • Get your families established in wellness and alternative healthcare now. As demand rapidly increases the market will flood and practitioners will begin turning away until college graduate output catches up.
  • Set enough money aside to cover your retirement and healthcare as you cannot count on government help being there when you need it.

If you play it right, you will be financially sound and in position to begin investing at the peak of depression which will set you up for financialindependencee!

An Evolutionists Worst Nightmare, You! And Why This Is Important To Your Health

I'm a scientific guy, and the "scientific" evidence is mounting every day, though the logic has been there all along, that you were created (not evolved from a hairy chimp). Everything from atomic structures to cells, organs, organ systems, to the complete being resonates incredible order, balance, and unity as a whole. Here's some basic scientific laws to consider:
  • "Intelligent Design": Any complex functional system (computer, light bulb, etc) does not originate from random, dumb luck but by directed, intentional, and intelligent design.
  • "Information Theory": Information has intelligence as its source, not haphazard chaotic chance. Your DNA is "programmed" with the intelligence to create "You".
  • "Irreducible Complexity": Your body works ONLY as a whole. If you eliminate any one piece, none of the systems work the way they're supposed to.
  • "Law of Probability": The probability of ONE simple protein occurring by accident is 1 in 10,260 making the chance that the entire human body is an accident inconceivable.

So why is this so important to your health? God designed the body and didn't make mistakes. It is our mistakes and the "man-made" things we put in our bodies that cause health problems. Think about the implications of this concept and what you can do today to set yourself on the right path.

  • Body: You are already plugged into a great source for tapping your potential in this area, and if you're not you should be. By taking care of your body and recognizing that it was designed by God himself and therefore has incredible potential, you can use the wealth of knowledge available today to achieve near Superhuman health status.
  • Mind: Most of the war is fought in the battles of the mind. Realize beyond a shadow of a doubt that God does not like labels, did not screw up when he made you, and gave you everything you needed to live the life he intended. Get over your crutches that hold you back. Grab onto faith instead and your mind will take you where it wants you to go in your health and life.
  • Family: Your family is where your heart is. Love is the resounding key here. We should all work on loving others more. Even if you feel you do not receive back immediately, realize that this act of giving alone has the ability to heal both physically and emotionally.
  • Society: Connection has a huge effect on our mind, body, and emotions. You alone create the environment your in by the manifestations of your mind. If the climate is uncomfortable, just change the way you think and act and you will see change even in the others around you.
  • Finances: Realize this, no matter how far ahead you get you will ALWAYS be behind until you get your PRIORITIES straight. You have all the money you need to survive, anything beyond that is what you make of it. Take a third person perspective on your checkbook, straighten out what's most important for living a long and wonderful life, and you will find your problem.

Biomechanics...The Science Of Movement

Motion is absolutely essential to achieving your maximum health potential. Let's lay down a few examples. Everyone knows that exercising is one of the best ways to lose weight, increase vitality, improve cardiovascular health, even reduce risk of cancer. So why do you get so much benefit from exercise? Well one important reason is exemplified through research that indicates if we put our spine through full, active range of motion every single day we could add YEARS, if not decades, to the life of our spine. Sounds simple right?

The real science is in why this occurs. The joints, muscles, tendons, and ligaments are all loaded with "mechanoreceptors". These "sensors" send information to the Cerebellum (part of the brain) which relies on this critical information for it's own function. From there, the Cerebellum talks to the rest of the brain which turns around and directs the body on how to work. So to put it simple, the BODY drives the BRAIN which drives the BODY! Consistent with most other processes of living organisms, it proves beyond a reasonable doubt that the body was "designed" in one piece. In other words, the chicken AND the egg arrived at the same time!

If you want these mechanoreceptors firing at their maximum and most accurate levels, you should have both exercise and Chiropractic adjustments as a regular part of your wellness routine.
