Cell Phone Got You SCRAMBLED?

Have you ever had your cell phone by your computer monitor when someone calls you. The monitor goes Berzerk. I don't know about you but it makes me nervous. As it should since cell phone use has been linked to acoustic neuromas as well as other problems. So what can you do to cut down on your risk to cell phone exposure.
1. Cut down on your talking!
2. Use a hands free device.
3. Keep your phone as far from your body as possible when you talk.
There are a few options out there from earpieces with cords to the new "Bluetooth" technology wireless earpieces. If you buy a piece with a wire make sure to get an iron clip for the wire. This cuts down on the radiation that travels down the outside of the wire. Though "Bluetooth" is said to be safe, there is still some to learn as it is a form of microwave. You can get more information on how "Bluetooth" works here: http://3c.nii.org.tw/3c/silicon/Hot/HealthConcerns.pdf

Stop WASTING Your Money On Health Insurance

Do you pay for Health Insurance out of your own pocket (this excludes Insurance through your employer)? If so, you are most likely wasting money. A few points to ponder...
1. Your insurance premium is the same whether you use it or not.
2. Insurance companies don't want you to see the Doctor, and use many tactics and restrictions to keep you from going (especially true with Chiropractic care).
3. The better they play this game, the more of YOUR MONEY they get to keep.

The fact is, if you are a Healthy individual you are paying for other peoples Healthcare. Luckily there is a better option. On December 8th, 2003 President Bush signed off on HSA's (or Health Savings Accounts). Here is the way it works...
1. You pay your monthly premium just like insurance.
2. Your Doctors bills get paid.
3. Whatever you don't use gets rolled over into a tax deductible savings account with your name on it.

Ok, so it's a little more complicated than that but the idea is, the less Health Care you require, the more of your money you get to keep! How's that for a Brilliant dose of common sense. http://www.hsainsider.com/

How Deep Are Those Pockets...

Breaking News today...
The Advisory Board to the FDA suggests that Bextra, Vioxx, and Celebrex be left on the market. Their comment: that the "Benefits" outweigh the "Risk". So you can feel absolutely, 100% safe knowing that the advisory board gives you the assurance and confidence that the heart attack (or stroke) you suffer will be WELL worth getting rid of that joint pain in your knee. Heck, if it's massive enough you won't feel the knee pain one bit! http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,148072,00.html
